While these may turn in to long term relationships, the odds are much less. Unless you want to find someone to swing with long term, you want to avoid these sites entirely. Also take some time to look through the sites to see the types of people who have profiles. You can generally browse the sites without paying a membership fee. This way if the site ends up being one that caters to younger, college aged students you aren’t out any money. Younger people on dating sites are typically looking for fun, and not necessarily commitment.
What to Say
You need to be perfectly clear in your profile as well. If you don’t come right out and say that your ultimate goal is finding a committed relationship, you’ll end up on many dates where you aren’t on the same page. It’s better to be upfront and passed over by some than not be upfront and get your hopes up for no reason.
